Anethum graveolens
Cucumber dill is the name given to dill that is already in flower and is harvested in autumn. The flowers form at a height of around one metre above the ground. They consist of 15 to 25 umbels, each made up of 15 to 25 individual flowers.
In the kitchen, dill flowers are used for pickling cucumbers and making stock.
