Artemisia dracunculus

Tarragon is a 25 – 40 cm tall plant with herbaceous, branched stems. Its light green leaves are elongated, almost lanceolate.

Its distinctive, slightly bitter flavour makes the “royal herb” very versatile in use. Fresh tarragon goes well with game, beef, poultry and fish. However, it is also ideal for asparagus, pickling cucumbers and adding vinegar.

TIPS FOR USE

Wild garlic can be used raw in salads, dip sauces, herb butter and pesto.
