Thymus

Thyme is a small evergreen semi-shrub that can grow to a height of 15-40 cm. It has small, oval, dark green leaves with a strong scent.

Its strong, savory, slightly bitter taste is similar to that of marjoram. Thyme is very popular in Mediterranean cuisine, as it harmonizes perfectly with garlic, tomatoes, olives and wine. It also lends
a special flavor to meat dishes and takes away their heaviness at the same time. It is therefore particularly recommended for meat and vegetable dishes in the barbecue season.

TIPS FOR USE

Thyme gives drinks a special flavor. For example, you can make an excellent herbal lemonade together with ginger and sugar syrup.
