Thymus citriodorus

This evergreen semi-shrub grows in more or less prostrate branches and grows to a height of 10 – 30 centimeters. The lanceolate leaves of lemon thyme are dark green and have a light yellow edge.

As its name suggests, it combines the spiciness of thyme with a pleasant lemony freshness. It adds a fresh spice to poultry dishes, roast lamb and Mediterranean vegetable dishes.
